Andrea Nagy, CEO of Positive Adamsky's PR division, was awarded Head of Agency of the Year (CEO), while Ádám Vaszary, Operations Business Development Director, took home the title of Agency Operations Head of the Year at the Agency People of the Year advertising competition.
This international award made its debut in Hungary this year, organized by MAKSZ, and its uniqueness lies in the fact that it does not recognize projects or agencies, but rather the innovative mindset, efficient work, and outstanding achievements of individuals in their respective fields. The award's high professional standard is primarily ensured by a 42-member jury of local and international marketing experts, who make their decisions in two rounds.
As the winner of the CEO of the Year category, Andrea Nagy shared: "This recognition means a lot to me. It symbolically concludes a challenging four-year journey: building and putting Positive PR on the map, assembling a strong client portfolio, and creating a professional team. From the beginning, my vision was not just to establish another PR agency in the market, but to attempt to create a new culture where strategic business development, high professional standards, and people-centric operations are in balance. Together, these elements form the foundation of excellent client-agency relationships. This award has confirmed that we are on the right path."
Ádám Vaszary, winner of the Agency Operations Head of the Year title, stated: "Finally, an initiative that shines a spotlight on the professionals working on the agency side. This was much needed. Through our Signature Platform, I witnessed the release of incredible positive energy among the operational staff on the client side, similar to what I experienced at the award ceremony among agency colleagues. For the first time in a long while, I saw people genuinely paying attention to each other and celebrating each other's successes. Just being mentioned alongside such industry legends is an honor in itself. I couldn’t have achieved any of this without the colleagues I work with day in and day out, so this recognition truly belongs to them as well."
This year, for the first time, awards were given in 13 categories, with numerous professionals from nearly all major advertising agencies competing. The jury was chaired by Julianna Ballarin, Executive Marketing Director of Diageo Eastern Europe, while the integrity of the competition process was overseen by the international auditing firm Media Sense.
